Rules for using the shooting ranges and shooting
- In the 25-meter range, you may use sport and service pistols up to 9 mm caliber for shooting!
Shooting must be done from the firing line, and targets must be placed on the plywood bases aligned with the target line. In exceptional cases, shooting may be allowed closer than 25 meters from the targets, but all shooters in that sector must shoot from a single line at the same time. Shooting is only permitted from a standing position and must target the plywood-backed targets properly affixed.
The use of rotating target mechanisms in the range is allowed only with permission from authorized personnel.
- In the 50-meter range, only small-caliber rifles up to 5.6 mm caliber can be used for shooting (including the 50-meter moving target shooting range)!
- Individuals without a firearm license or permit can only shoot under the supervision of an instructor, whose services must be booked in advance.
When coming to shoot, the person conducting the shooting presents their firearm license or permit to the administrator and informs them of the firearms to be used, which ranges, and for how long they intend to shoot.
- Firearms owned by the health sports center can be rented, and ammunition can be purchased on-site for use. Visitors may also use their own firearms, ammunition, and targets that comply with regulations.
- Children as young as 12 years old are permitted to shoot firearms.
- The necessary shooting equipment (target bases, shooting area tables, chairs, and telescopic sight stands) is available in the shooting ranges.
- After training, users must clear away the cartridge shells and packaging, used targets, and trash.
The compliance with regulations and adherence to safety requirements in the shooting ranges are monitored by the responsible individuals appointed by the Tehvandi Sports Center Foundation's directive.
